What is the Annual Subscription?

Your purchase of PEERNET’s File Conversion Center with our On-Going Licensing and Support Subscription provides the ability to move / transfer a license to a new computer or re-license a computer after a crash or operating system upgrade, priority technical support, and access to all updates and upgrades free of charge via your online account for the period of one (1) year.

Declined support will only allow you to license the number of computers up to the limit purchased and the most basic technical support.

What License Level Do I Need?

For businesses or small groups, we recommend multiple Standard licenses. If you require command line options for silent commands, you need a Professional license of File Conversion Center.

File Conversion Center is primarily designed for business or small group users. For these users we recommend you purchase multiple Standard licenses of File Conversion Center. An individual standard license of File Conversion Center will allow you to install and license a single computer/workstation with the software. If you are installing the software on a terminal or Citrix server, the number of licenses required is based on the number of users that will be using the installed software.

A Standard license will allow the user to manually initial the batch conversion of any number of files or folders from the desktop using the Convert To menu, desktop converter bins, and/or the advanced application interface.

If you require command line options for silent commands, please see our Professional license of File Conversion Center. That said, if you need to convert large volumes of documents on a continuous basis, then we recommend looking at our Document Conversion Service software instead as it can run 24/7 to convert large volumes of document in an automated and unattended fashion.

As an enterprise or corporate user, we recommend you purchase Document Conversion Service instead of File Conversion Center.

Document Conversion Service is a server-based, fully automated, Windows product used to seamlessly integrate document conversion into your workflow. Document Conversion Service will centralize your file conversion needs to a server environment allowing you to convert large volumes of documents on a continuous basis.

We recommend you purchase either an Entry Level or Level I license of Document Conversion Service. An Entry Level license will activate a single physical or virtual server for processing up to one document at a time. A Level I license will activate a single physical or virtual computer for processing up to three documents concurrently.

Document Conversion Service can work on converting documents created by hundreds, or even thousands, of users as it can be configured to monitor folders on your network share. An Entry Level license can convert ~1000 pages each day and a Level I license can convert ~2000 pages a day, although these estimates are strongly dependent on server resources and file input and output type.
